Brunton has begun a new era in optics with the EPOCH binocular, simply the best light transmission-through-glass optic on the market. Lens designs are hybrid aspheric for the least distortion of image and color. All lenses have Hard Coat™ anti-reflective coating for durability and anti-fog coating so inclement weather is never a problem. Its exclusive 43mm objective lens diameter significantly increases light gathering. Unlike any other binocular, the Epoch uses SF prism material - better than any glass on any other binocular. Epoch prisms are next generation phase correction coated and secured with five retention screws for extra impact resistance. Flat-light™ transmission coated objective lenses and AL-HR reflective prism coatings work together to create a system with near perfect light reflectivity. The unique features that set the Epoch apart include the Patent-Pending Locking Multi-Step Long-Eye Relief System, which makes the Epoch binocular work for anyone. The Locking Diopter secures with the push of a ring. The Variable Speed Focusing system takes less than one full turn from infinity to 3 feet. This binocular is incredibly durable, with a space age Magnesium Alloy body and grip-friendly armor coating. Of course the Epoch is fully water- and dust-proof, and filled with nitrogen to make interior fog-ups impossible. Epoch X2 Field ScopeConvert your Epoch binoculars in the field to become a spotting scope. Just attach the 2X waterproof field scope. It doubles the magnification from 7.5X to 15X, or from 10.5X to 21X, depending on the Epoch model.
